Matt Chouinard

BIOGRAPHY

Matt Chouinard is a 2013 graduate of the University of Connecticut and received both a Law degree and a Master’s degree from Creighton University in 2016. He is a member of the Omaha and Nebraska Bar Associations and the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association, and he regularly works with insurers, businesses, and individuals to navigate claims, lawsuits, and negotiations. Matt brings a practical, client-focused perspective to civil litigation, shaped by years of experience representing individuals and organizations in disputes ranging from simple motor vehicle accidents and slip-and-falls to complex catastrophic losses and fatalities.

With his background handling both litigated and pre-litigation matters, Matt offers insightful guidance on risk, exposure, and resolution strategies at every stage of a case. A steady advocate, he represents clients in a broad range of civil matters and is known for his careful preparation, clear communication, and pragmatic approach to litigation.

Matt and his wife, Laura, are raising two daughters in the Omaha area, and when he is not working or with family, he is likely cheering for his alma maters, UConn and Creighton, or his hometown Red Sox and Patriots.
